Me Want Candy

Me Want Candy from Daniel Garnerone on Vimeo.

That's a small personal project I did. It actually works as serie, with that nasty lil blond girl as main.

An Early Invasion

Wood again, Octopus again. This work is a part of a bigger serie. I'm quite keen on the new american surrealism.

Barbarella of Wood

Face with Handle

Another random painting work, on wood again, as I never learn from mistakes of the past.

Or an unlikely adultery union between Nessy and a random hammerhead shark.

Jellyfish

That 3d illustration comes from the first stages of an Eurommillions Lottery's advert. Everything was supposed to take place in the brain of any players. We came up with the idea of creating an aquatic like inner world.

LOST AND FOUND Trailer from STUDIO AKA on Vimeo.

The production of this short was very intense.

First of all, the whole project had to happen within a year, which is quite ambitious for a small team like AKA and a 30min long film.

I worked on scenes throughout the whole film, and did texture few characters too, like the main character. I was already a fan of Oliver Jeffers, so watercolor to 3D was something we all didn't want to happen in an odd way.

The final result is a full story with a lot of new elements that really brings Jeffers'world to life. Really enjoyed working on that one.

VARMINTS Trailer from STUDIO AKA on Vimeo.

That's the first project I worked on at Studio AKA. I had the whole final sequence to put my teeth on. Because the last scene is a bit disconnected to the rest of the short, I could experience and express quite a lot.

Le poulpe cubique

La marque du poulpe

This is an old painting I did about 5 years ago. I still feel quite attached to it. It 's acrylic on wood, so not carry-able, but should have thought about that before.

The Thing

Famous scene the Carpenter's disturbing piece, and actually the most unusual one I could ever watch on a film. My version is more watchable.

Showreel 2007

Ouh le vieux truc. That fella is 2 years old, but bits are still watchable I think.
